I would like to invite you for a baking experience in the desert.

During the workshop, we will touch the incredible power of baking, become exposed to the bread baking stories of various cultures, learn great recipes and different baking techniques. We also lean about nutritional properties of whole-wheat bread.

Workshops are for all those who love bread (almost everyone…).

 

Workshop is 1.5-2.5 hours long.

The workshop is suitable for groups of up to 30 people.

The workshop is held at a boutique bakery (Kosher) in Mitzpe Ramon

 

For Shabbat – Challah Creation / Bat Mitzvah

Workshop for women (men can participate as well).

During the workshop, we will learn about the connection between challah baking and female power.

We will learn to bake sweet challahs and whole-wheat challahs. We will also learn about the “Hafrashat Challah” ceremony (separating a portion of the dough before braiding), which is very important in Judaism, and will hold the ceremony together.

We will learn various challah-braiding designs, bake the challahs and taste the bread we create.

 

Whole-wheat bread baking

During this workshop, we will be gain an extensive knowledge of health and nutrition, types of flour and grain, nutritional properties and, of course, we will learn several wonderful and healthy recipes.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to use the baking goods and make a delicious meal.

Lasha Bakery invites all people who love bread and the desert to connect the elements of life - earth, water, fire and wind by attending a unique bread-baking workshop in the open air.

We will knead, learn, bake, connect to the Israeli people journey through the desert, and enjoy a delicious meal.

Bread is baked on an open fire in a special bread poyke.
